The JP042 benefits from excellent instrument design, with the beginner in mind but capable of a high standard of play, and is musically versatile with good tonal and dynamic characteristics. With a standard of components and specification usually reserved for more experienced instruments, the JP042 has been described as having “a distinctive and very bright sound”.
